Scott Hixson Obituary
Scotty graduated from Naperville North High School before earning his degree from the University of Illinois at Chicago. He was a talented writer with a unique sense of humor and a passion for nostalgic movies, books, and jazz music, reflecting his old soul.
He is survived by his loving parents, Cindy Jilek-Hixson and Scott Randall Hixson; his brother, Sean Hixson; his grandfather, Raymond Jilek; and many caring aunts, uncles, and cousins. Scotty's ability to make each family member and friend feel cherished and appreciated will be deeply missed.
A private memorial service will be held in July 2024 to honor Scotty's life. In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to a special fund set up to plant a tree in his memory at the Morton Arboretum, a place he dearly loved. Donations can be made through the dedicated GoFundMe page at [https://gofund.me/d9190cf1] This living tribute will serve as a lasting celebration of Scotty's life and love for nature.
Scotty has left a compassionate legacy in giving the Gift of Hope to others as an organ/tissue donor.
