My son was a loving, funny person. He loved his children ....Gave the best "I love you , mom" hugs. I miss him ... he took my heart with him.

Love to the family today

... my apologies... my previous post failed to acknowledge both of Scott´s children (Reese & Lily). My sentiments were attributed to both of them.

Scott was a sincerely loving dad. What greater legacy can a man have than that? It is the very metric by which I measure my own life... as a devoted and loving father (striving to be at least). Scott´s legacy lives on in his daughter... and she will do him proud... which she already has done. God bless you Scott

Scott will forever be loved and missed. The love he had for his children, his mom, and his dad was beyond measure. His humor ranged from subtle to outrageous. His kind heart was easy to love. Those of us who were fortunate enough to have Scott in our lives are left in a world that is less than it was. We do, however, have memories which must suffice for now. I cherish those memories and the time I had with my nephew and friend. Fly high Scott, you will always have a very special place in my heart.

When I posted the first time tonight, it was about my first memory of Scott. There are really so many memories to choose from. Sitting in the back of a limo with him and him dancing on the seat out the top. He was always willing to participate in our silliness. One thing I choose to remember is the love he had for his children. He was so proud of both of them. Reese and Lily, keep that love in your heart and know how deeply you were loved by him.

My first memory of Scott was as a newborn. That beautiful young boy had the most engaging smile. His adorable dimples were visible at that time and they never disappeared. He had a huge personality that only grew as he aged. I never new what he was up to but I did know he was up to something at all times. The world was a brighter and wonderful place with him in it. I will miss his beyond measure. Every time I make baklava, I think of him. My darlin' Scott, soar with the angels!!!

My earliest memories of my cousin, Scott were enjoying family gatherings at his grandparent´s home in Visalia. He was about six years younger than me, and in my observations and interactions, Scott was a quiet and kind young lad with a happy smile. He quickly grew to manhood and I was delighted to see the sweet disposition of his personality remained with the growth of his confidence and happy nature. His love was genuine and caring for his family, especially for his two children, Reese and Lily.
I enjoyed spending time with him, laughing and talking with him about movies, tv shows, comic books, and most importantly his children. He showed his intelligence and sharp wit, frequently sparring jest and quips with his family and friends. Scott is missed here by his family and friends. I take comfort in knowing he was welcomed with open arms into paradise by our family who have gone before us.

Living far away most of the time I didn´t really know Scott while he was growing up. As an adult he was always willing to talk to his mom´s cousin when I came to visit. Loved his sense of humor and we shared many a laugh. Scott, you are missed and much loved even though the distance is greater for now.
