Scott Nelson Obituary
Whether buying or selling cars or renovating a house, Scott was always ready to discover the next opportunity. For Scott, pursuing a "new project" was always more exciting than the ordinary. A compassionate man, Scott was available to his friends to listen and offer assistance. His caring heart led him to become a massage therapist for a season.
Scott discovered that obstacles in life could be opportunities to explore faith. Through his challenges and exploration of faith, he realized how God's love is never-ending.
Friends and family will miss Scott's presence, smile, laughter, entrepreneurial spirit, and compassionate heart will be missed.
Surviving Scott is his mother and stepfather, Gretchen and Robert B. Ravenscroft, his brother, Robert B. Ravenscroft, Jr., and his daughter, Caterina Van Alst-Nelson.
A Memorial Service to celebrate Scott's life will occur on Thursday, December 15th, 2022, in the Chapel of Messinger Pinnacle Peak Mortuary, 8555 E. Pinnacle Peak Rd., Scottsdale, Arizona. The time of service is 2 pm.
In place of flowers and to provide relief to those suffering in Ukraine,

I just found out Scott passed. He loved coming to Salome, Az. We always had a room here at our motel for him. We talked for ever when he came to the office. In fact he stored some of of his stuff in our shed without me knowing and I think his stuff is still there!! But we have some nice memories of him. We are all going to miss him. Rest well Scott! Shefflers motel.
