My thoughts have been with the Shallcross family since I learned of Scott's passing. While I hadn't seen Scott after my retirement, I still remember our emotional final hug and the many, many memories we shared together. I am so sorry to hear of Scott's passing. I, too, have very fond memories of Scott from years ago in Bay Village. I still recall my first day of high school at Bay High. I came from another school as opposed to the Bay Middle School and did not know many kids. Scott sat next to me in homeroom that day and was kind, welcoming and without a doubt put a smile on my face. As a parent of teens today, I am sure many of us understand the impact of such a simple act of kindness as Scott showed me that day. He was a "good egg" with a kind soul and will be missed by many.

I was so sorry to hear about Scott's passing. I remember fondly the years of friendship my son Chris and the boys shared with Scott growing up together in Bay Village. The famous Toga Party picture of Scott, Chris, and Danny is one of my favorites. My deepest sympathy to your family.
