Scott Steven Sheppard

Scott was a major influence on the neighborhood. A group of boomers that spent every Sunday enjoying an American pastime and playing softball too.
I´ve been thrown for a loop. I´ll miss you like you missed your digits.
I apologize to your family for missing the finale performance of a true friend.
Goodbye Scott, enjoy your ever lasting peace, until I get there, then look out St Peter I don´t like following the rules.

Scotty always was so helpful and kind to all and such a jolly soul. May he be in peace and enjoying the great fishing boats in heaven

I grew up with Scott in Spring City. He was very nice to everyone. He was always working on cars with his dad at the car repair shop. We would see him every car show. RIP Scott. We will miss you!

I grew up with Scott and his brothers and sisters on S&K Street in Spring City, also went camping with his whole family growing up. Scott worked at Tauder Ford as a mechanic for a while, when I was working there, also. I was shocked to hear that he passed. Rest in Peace Scott.

I´ve known Scott my whole life as a cousin-friend. He was an enigmatic human being, lighting up a room, loudly..
We had a lot of laughs over the years and some tears too.
We swam, we fished, we raced around in cars when we were teenagers. We spent as much time as we could over the years. Even after I moved away. I came back all the time and sometimes the first face I would see, would be Scott´s. He would pick me up at the airport sometimes with my dad. Even lent me a car, so I could have my own wheels while I visited.
I remember when I told Scott about my future husband. I told him he would like him and he asked why? I said "he´s just like us." My family. Scott later in years told me that he rolled his eyes at me that day. Then he also told me "I was right." That he was, just like I said.. Scott wasn´t afraid to be wrong and tell you that...but he would argue his point if he thought he was right too....just like our family....tee hee
In 1995, Scott flew out to my home in Oregon. I will never forget when he got off the plane, one of the first things he said to me was how much I looked like Gram. Our Grandmother on my dads and his dad´s side of the family. That was unbelievable to me, cause I had never really thought about it, until I saw his reaction to seeing me that year. I loved that
I could go on and on, but my memories are limited to a distance of my move. But Scott´s friendship and family connection was one of my reasons for coming home. I couldn´t wait to get together and find out all I had missed that year...thru the years, we got cell phones and were able to call and text more often. sadly one of the many things I will miss....

Scott and I fished together many times and always had a lot of laughs and fun, RIP Scott! I attached a picture from one of our trips, it was a great day on the water.
