SCOTT STRATTON Obituary

Published by Legacy Remembers on Aug. 1, 2024.
SCOTT A. STRATTON, aged 51, of Sneads, Florida, passed away on June 23, 2024. Born on February 11, 1973, in Cincinnati, Ohio, Scott grew up to be a man of significant stature with a personality just as large. His warm, teddy bear-like demeanor made him beloved by all who knew him.

Scott was a standout athlete during his high school years at Lakota High School, where he was inducted into the Hall of Fame for his football prowess. He continued his football career at Penn State, further honing his athletic skills. Professionally, Scott excelled as a home improvement salesman, consistently achieving top salesman honors at every company he worked with, a testament to his hard work and dedication.

Beyond his professional life, Scott was a passionate outdoorsman. He found joy in kayaking, fishing, and gardening-activities that allowed him to enjoy his dream home on the river in Florida. These hobbies were a reflection of his love for nature and the outdoors.

Scott's life was anchored by his deep love for his family. He is survived by his wife, Julie Stratton (Swartz); sons, Hunter, Wyatt, and Gavin Stratton; stepfather, Ron Flege; father-in-law, George Swartz; mother-in-law, Linda Swartz; sister-in-law, Tonya Hartman; and nieces, Allyson and Abby Hartman. He was preceded in death by his father, Dennis Stratton, and mother, Ginger (Durlia) Flege.

A Celebration of Life will be held at Center Pointe Church, 5962 Hamilton-Mason Rd, Liberty Township, OH 45011, on August 17, 2024, 1-4 pm EST. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the Scott Stratton Family Memorial Fund (Account #7993871578) at any 5/3 Bank, to honor Scott's memory and support his family.

Scott's legacy is not just in the records he set or the sales he made, but in the love he shared and the lives he touched. His presence will be deeply missed but fondly remembered by his family, friends, and all who had the pleasure of knowing him.
