Marines from Delta Battery, 2-13 are just finding out a year later. I was not in Delta but joined Hq Battery about two weeks later after the battle at Ngok Tavak. Met Doc at the Connecticut and Foxboro funerals. Paul Barry also of Hq, and I were made quite welcome by Doc. I had felt like an outsider until I met Doc.
