So sad to hear we will no longer see Scott at the ballpark. We've had the pleasure of knowing Scott since 1992 when he first shared his love of Tigers baseball with us. He also introduced us to the world of baseball momentoes and autographs. Scott so enjoyed watching the kids light up when they met a player. Not sure if the kids or Scott enjoyed that more! Such a kind and humorous guy. So glad we were able to enjoy a nice long visit this past summer with him. RIP friend.

When you walked through the Admin Doors and saw Scotty, you knew that everything was in order and that it would be a good day. He was kind and thoughtful and had that "twinkle" in his eye. We will miss him.

Scotty was always the best person to see walking in the doors of the ballpark. He genuinely cared about each and every person who was in the building every day. Sending hugs to his family, who he spoke with pride about every time I was able to catch up with him. He will be missed by so many.

Scotty was one of the very first people I met when I moved to Detroit over 20 years ago. He was always (and I mean ALWAYS) thoughtful, kind, attentive, and generous with his time and attention. He made my job easier, and our days at the ballpark more enjoyable. He will be missed.
Rest in peace, Scotty.

My Dear Friend Scotty:
It has been a pleasure and a real honor for me to have worked with you at the ball park for 9 seasons. We had a special bond trading Comerica Park pins with one another, and shared good conversation of our love for the Detroit Tigers.
I will miss seeing your smiling face.
May your memory be a blessing to all who knew you.
Godspeed!

I didn't know you for very long, but you were the first face I would see every morning and it was always a warm welcome. Since I'm from Orlando, it was always cool to talk Disney with you and discuss future visits. You will be missed.

I’ve known Scotty for the 16 years I’ve worked at Comerica Park. Nobody knew that place as well as Scotty. When he was field supervisor he was firm but fair, enforcing field access rules the same no matter who he dealt with. Since he left the field he was literally the face of the Tigers in the reception lobby, greeting and assisting everyone from executives to part time employees. He will be greatly missed.
