In memory of
Jeff Salzman

I worked with Sean at Aetna in the 1980's. I hadn't talked with him since probably around 1990 - a long time ago. I had a dream about him last night, welcoming me back to Aetna, which made me think of him. I Googled him and was very sad to see he had passed away so many years ago. I wish I had the opportunity to tell him how much he impacted me and my career - hopefully one day I will.

As the oldest of the "Stanley" cousins, I was priviledged to watch the rest grow from childhood to adulthood - we weren't always geographically close, but our hearts were always bound in "the sisters' love" - Sean and I shared a very special bond of humor that will always keep his smile near my heart - I'll miss you "Porky"! - much love and many hugs - keep my place warm next to you - Nancy

I met Sean about 27 years ago when he came to work for Aetna in Columbia. He immediately became a close friend to Barry, Laurie and me. Laurie was 1 and she and Sean had a very special relationship. She couldn't pronounce his name so called him "Hawn". There is no way to adequately express my sorrow over losing Sean or to tell you how sorry we all are. I am so thankful that we were able to spend last Thanksgiving and Christmas with Sean. His loss is a void that can't be filled but I have many, many wonderful memories of our time together. I'm glad he was a part of my life.

I worked for Sean at Aetna in Florida where he was my manager for 5 years. During my tenure under Sean, he made a profound impact on me, which his teachings continues to benefit me in succeeding in the business world today. He was not only a memorable teacher, but also a good friend. May he rest in peace.

I had the pleasure of working with Sean in Hartford several years ago, and remember how he battled the cluster headaches. I was always amazed at how he could will himself through the pain. My prayers are with him and members of his family.

I was a claim rep in the AEtna office in Tampa, Florida while Sean was there in the late '80's and early '90's. He was always a gentleman and had a very sharp wit. I remember him well. He is just leading the way where we'll all travel one day. Godspeed, Sean!

Sean Harty- If the webster dictionary had a definition it would be Gentleman. Sean was one of the kindest people I know. He would do anything to help anybody. He loved life. He was always so happy go lucky even with all his years of pain and suffering with his headaches, that last year he finally found relief after 25 years. He was SO happy. He adopted Danny who is a great dog. He moved in his new home. He was on top of the world. His life was finally HIS!! My childhood memories were so blessed by all the times and memories my sister and I had with Sean and his family. Sean was my cousin and his family was a family to me and my sister His dad and mom, were the two people that were so dear to my heart. We lost them way too early. Sean and his sisters were sisters and brother to me and my sister. We had the best times together. My sister and I have the fondest memories of all the time we spent with Sean and his family. We spent our spring breaks and summers with them. Sean taught Brenda, Sheila, Joann and myself to play many games such as heavy heavy hang over my head, spoons, black jack, family plays and yard carnivals and many more. We all together had so many fun times, that they are my fondest memories of a good part of my life. He loved to have fun. My nephew Spencer loved to hear our stories about Sean and his sisters. He met Sean a few years ago and still talks about cousin Sean. Sean meant the world to me. He may be gone, but in my heart he will never be forgotten. Buddy boy I will love you always. Love, Cathy
