Hello family and friends of Chris. I only recently found out that Chris passed away almost a decade ago. I was good friends with him through middle school and early high school. I've looked online and can't find much info about his passing. Is there any info anyone can share? I'm still a little shocked at the news and would love a little context to help me get past it. Love to all who knew him, he was such a great guy.

Getting to know you and seeing you everyday this summer was one of the happiest experiences of my life!! Thank you for experiencing so much with me in such a short amount of time. Thank you for teaching me how to "surf", and for many, many intriguing conversations. Whether it was over lunch at the yacht club or late night chats, you were always there to lend an ear and often times helpful insight. Most importantly, thank you for teaching me to smile always, to laugh at things that cannot be changed, and to live life to the fullest and with no regrets every single day. You will be on my mind often and in my heart always. Love you.

My deepest condolences to Chris's family. I was so sad to hear the news. Chris was my absolute best friend for the first 8 or 9 years of my life. I often remember playing with him when you all lived across the street. I cannot imagine the pain all of you must be in, but you all will be and have been in my prayers. Chris I only met you in person 4 or 5 times, but each time I met ya I could spot your smile a mile away! Sometimes I wouldn't see ya for several years at a time and even though you might have grown a few inches, that smile remained the same! You always greated me with "WILL!!!" and a warm hug!! I will miss that hug and that smile of yours. It was a pleasure to have known you!!!! LOVE YA!!

To Chris' Family:

I never actually met Chris in person, but we shared the same interest in BMWs and chatted frequently on bimmerforums.com. He was a very well respected member of this website and I always enjoyed reading his comments/posts.

We have a vacation home on Topsail Island - just north of Wilmington where Chris used to live. He was going to give my 9-year old son and I surfing lessons at some point in the future. We were really looking forward to meeting him in person and my son bugged me for weeks about when Mr. Chris was going to teach us to surf.

I am truly sorry for you loss. You are in my thoughts and prayers.

I have been saying for two days, "It cannot be"; "There's got to be some way to fix this!" Dear, beautiful, sweet, loving Christopher, with a smile and charm that always pulled you toward him. I'm very sorry to learn of his loss. He was a wonderful colleague and I'm sure that all of his fellow OT brethren will miss him as deeply as I will. It is tragic to be taken at such a young age, and I lament all that he will never get a chance to do.
