I was so sorry to hear of Sean's passing, and I send my condolences to his family on their loss. It was always wonderful to see Sean and the other members of The Chieftains at the many concerts of theirs I went to here in the United States. RIP, Sean.

Condolences to Darach, Deirdre and Padraig. Seán was a lovely man, married to a lovely woman, and had three wonderful children.
A humble man, he lived in a humble house in Rathcoole, and never lived the outward life of a world renowned musician. May he rest in peace after a life lived well.

Sean with his wife and children in his younger days liked to come to the village of Ballyduff in North Kerry.They would visit Brownes Bar at nite and became friendly with the locals.He would play the fiddle and was a very humble man with airs and graces.He leaves behind a legacy and great memories.
