Sean Patrick Logan

Sean P Logan, 21 of Waxhaw died suddenly on May 26, 2009 at Roanoke Memorial Hospital. Sean was an engineering student at Virginia Tech and a 2005 graduate of Charlotte Catholic High School. Sean was an Eagle Scout, a rock climber, an avid outdoorsman, a Virginia Tech radio DJ with a love of music and a true zest for life. His beautiful eyes, great smile and infectious laugh were adored by everyone who knew him. Sean was an organ donor and is a hero to the 5 recipients and their families and friends who are the beneficiaries of his last gift to mankind. Sean was the son of John C and Theresa E (Castillo) Logan and the grandson of Ernesto and Ellen Castillo, and Alice J Logan and the late John C Logan Sr. He is survived by his parents, his sister Gillian M Logan, his grandparents as well as many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends who loved him. A Mass of Christian burial to celebrate the life of Sean Logan will be held 11:00 AM, Saturday, May 30, 2009 at St. Matthew Catholic Church 8015 Ballantyne Commons Parkway, Charlotte, North Carolina. Prior to the Mass, the family will receive friends at 9:30AM at St. Matthew's Church. A reception will immediately follow at the parish center. Interment will be private. In lieu of flowers, memorials in Sean's name may be made to Mecklenburg County Council Boy Scouts of America, 1410 East 7th Street, Charlotte, NC 28204.
