Sean was very loved by all his Family, Sean was an amazing Father to Seamus, Hunter, and Morgan. His love for their Mother, Jennifer Pipes Mckay followed him until his last day.
Sean was an amazing brother so cherished and loved, as the families Baby brother. Sean's accolades and success in life, were shadowed in comparison to the strong, proud, intelligent man he became, in life. Sean was humbled by others, in their struggles, always the friend that was there to support on a late night, in the worst of troubles. He had wisdom, love, and an exuberance for life that excelled in his smile to his eyes. His sarcastic wit, his athleticism, his joie de vivre, always brought any company Sean was in to life with laughter and happiness. Sean Cherished his life long friends he grew with, from learn to skate, midgets, and travel hockey, as he watched them excel to OHL, and later some friends to NHL. From neighbourhood friends, school, work, or sports, they all became an integral part of each other's lives.
Sean moved to Vancouver for employment over 20 years ago. Settling in Maple Ridge, after meeting the love of his life, Jennifer. The most amazing moments of his life, were spent with his Family, neighbours and friends there, raising their families, following the tradition of parents in hockey he had been raised with so many years in his home town of Galt Cambridge. Sean met and cherished many friends in Maple Ridge. Sean coached minor hockey, volunteered in fundraisers. Sean was truly blessed where ever he went with a genuine love, respect, and friendship of everyone in his life. Sean will always live in our hearts, and our memories spoken will always keep him alive.
There will be a Celebration of Life for Sean in Maple Ridge. There will also be a memorial held in Arthur, Ontario on September 11, 2021 at 2 p.m. Please PM family members for details on Facebook.
