Maestro Ozawa"s energy, passion and sheer brilliance formed and shaped my love and knowledge of classical music, especially when he led the Chicago Symphony at Ravinia. Because of my own passion, mentored by my following of his stellar career, I was moved to attend many live performances by Bruno Walter, Igor Stravinsky, Fritz Reiner, Eugene Ormandy, George Solti and so many others. Opera and Jazz followed and I worked producing television with Jerome Hines and Gerry Mulligan. Thanks so very much Seiji Ozawa. Your energy transformed my life!
