Mrs. Serafina "Sally" (Cassarino) Zampell

Serafina "Sally" (Cassarino) Zampell of Stoneham, formerly of Medford, passed away on October 14, 2015. Sally is the beloved wife of 68 years of Vincent Zampell. She is the devoted mother of Ron Zampell and his wife Ann, Nancy Reily and her late husband Rich, Rick Zampell and his wife Carol, and Donna Barry and her husband David. Sally is the cherished grandmother of Erin, Kelli, Todd, Kristin, Michael, Danielle, Kyle, Jeff and Brooke. She is the dear great-grandmother to Meghan, Theo, Carter, Reily, Mia, Grace, Serafina, Jaxson, Emerson, Brooklyn and Travis. Sally was the former secretary to the Supt. of Medford Public Schools for 20 years, a job she took great pride in. One of her greatest gifts was her love of music. She loved to sing and would always enjoy dancing with her dear husband at family celebrations. She will be deeply missed. Funeral at the Barile Family Funeral Home, 482 Main St. (RT 28) STONEHAM on Saturday, October 17, 2015 at 10:00am. Family and friends are cordially invited to gather and share memories with the Family on Friday, October 16, 2015 from 4-8pm in the Funeral Home. Parking attendants and elevator are available.
