Serafino (as I knew you then)
My special words to you are thank you from the bottom of my heart ....for when given the chance, you were always kind, wonderful and supportive.
In an instant, you would be there, if ever a problem arose (however big or small), always in your caring and loving way. Your natural instinct to lighten whatever the mood with just a silly joke could always bring a smile my way.
It is understandable and befitting now; how so fondly you are rememberd by your children, your friends and loved ones.
Ultimately, at this very moment, I hope and pray that all who loved you here and who you have left behind will find peace and comfort in knowing that what made you special here on earth is what makes you special in Heaven now with our One True Lord.

My Dearest Sister and Family,
My heart is broken for your loss. May Heavenly Father comfort you this day and forever.
What a man of substance Marc was.
He demonstrated daily such worthy attributes. He was generous with his love both of family and for people he didn't even know.
He worked hard to lighten the load of others, giving endlessly of his time and efforts so that others could have a better life.
He held himself to a high standard, and attempted each day to succeed in reaching that standard.
Marc loved life and joyfully lived it and in so doing demonstrated the love of our Heavenly Father.
He welcomed all to his home and treated each of us like princes and princesses within it.
He was quite simply a good and kind man, a man of substance.
He is not gone dear Wendy. He lives in another place now in the presence of our Heavenly Father. His love for you continues and will for an eternity. He has gone before you to prepare a way for you.
I love you dear sister. You are a select daughter of our Heavenly Father and his love will comfort you and sustain you at this time. Turn to him often in prayer and know that he will be there for you.

Dear Wendy and family,
We are so saddened to hear of Marc's passing but we also know how much he remained optomistic and pushed along when times got tough. We are grateful we were able to spend some time with both of you at Barry/Jill's cabin this summer. Our hearts are with you all as he will be dearly missed and what a wonderful man he was.

I feel truly blessed to have been able to call him dad and for my children to have had the most amazing grandfather for the time that we were allowed. I always knew there was a special person out there for mom - I just so wish they could have found each other sooner and have had more time. God always has a plan, and it was for them to find each other, even if only for a very short time. A huge void has been left in all of our lives at the loss of an incredible man. I suppose we can only now feel fortunate for the brief time we had and the love and happiness that he brought into our lives. The beautiful memories and loving times we've had will carry us through. All our love forever to our one-of-a-kind father and grandfather....

He passed on knowing how much he was loved and had the very best care and dignity in his final days being able to be at home surrounded by his loving family.
