So sad. Mr, Fayerman stayed at our bed and breakfast 2 years ago. We talked about his holocaust experiences. My parents were holocaust survivors as well. Before he left he gave me an autographed copy of his book. He will be missed

My condolences to the Fayerman family, for Severin Fayerman
was truly an extraordinary person. And we who met him are fortunate
for having had that privilege! As others have already written,
he had such a positive, uplifting, infectious cheerfulness.
I am so glad I heard his talks (more than once), and had the opportunity
for some of our children to hear him speak. And that he so willingly
allowed me to take a photo of him with them. What an inspiring message
and story he had to share! And with positive attitude, with intellect,
and with such grace. And he shared so much
in so many ways, and thank him and you that he did. Again, my deepest
condolences to the Fayerman family, and my best thoughts and wishes for all of you.

I sat in the audience when Mr. Fayerman presented to my son's middle school. I also listed to an interview he did on the radio and have read his book. Mr. Fayerman made such an impact on me and my son with his courage, intellect and ability to share his incredible story so publicly. I am saddened that he will no longer be able to enlighten others through his voice but his words will live on in his book: A Survivor's Story.

Three years ago, my son heard Mr. Fayerman speak 3 years ago. He still remembers, in such detail, what he heard that day, which shows me what a huge impact Mr. Fayerman had on him. Godspeed in the next part of his journey and prayers to the family.

After my father closed the family grocery store business of thirty years in 1975, he wanted to continue working, even at 65 years of age. On a visit to the Baldwin Hardware Manufacturing plant, a couple of blocks away from his home, Mr. Fayerman interviewed dad and was impressed with his business background and work ethic and liked to speak Polish with him and hired him, for which dad worked another 18 and a half years. Dad visited the newly opened Baldwin Brass Center in Williamsburg, Va. in 1981, during his yearly family vacation, to express how he too was privileged to be part of an American-made product without equal. Yes, Mr. Fayerman has helped so many people and will be sadly missed. But for my dearly beloved father, perhaps they can continue their Polish talks.

I first met Severin in 1981 preparing to open a Baldwin Brass Center in Williamsburg, VA. There was a sense of awe you felt whenever you were with him, for the privilege it was to sell an American-made product without equal. He had an enthusiasm for life that was infectious and it inspired all of us at Baldwin to pursue our personal best in all things. I am one of many who forged a career in the shadow that this man cast on the world, and I will always be grateful for his impact on my life. May the family he leaves behind be comforted in knowing how many lives he touched. In deepest sympathy,

My deepest sympathies on the loss of a truly humble man. I had the pleasure to meet him at a veterans' event a few years back and was honored to have known him. The world has lost a wonderful soul.

I had the honor and pleasure of being a consultant to Severin for over 25 years. His greatest attribute(among many)was his positive outlook on life which inspired so many. Although a man of great personal success, he continued to enjoy the simple pleasures in life. He seemed most happy when surrounded by beautiful music, fresh flowers from his garden, and lively conversation.
He was a great friend who leaves a tremendous legacy as a role model. He will truly be missed. I extend my deepest sympathy to all his family.

I am so sorry for the loss of Severin. I was a volunteer for the Red Cross for nearly 20 years and met Severin at the breakfast's for the Red Cross. We would sit together and talk. He was so interesting, knowledgeable and just a wonderful man. He had given me his book and signed it, which I will cherish always. I was lucky and honored to have known Severin and he will be missed by all. God Bless his Family.

While I never met him I owe him my gratitude as his contributions to the Berks County business community indirectly helped in my upbringing. He built a company worthy of holding employees for 25+ years, a rare feat in today's businesses. Both of my parents worked at Baldwin for over 25 years and were in the last handful when the company left the area. Their dedication and loyalty to the Baldwin company, staying until those last days, speaks volumes to the legacy this man created. When Baldwin closed its doors in Berks County, I chose to focus on my appreciation for all that Baldwin afforded my family for most of my life, the wonderful upbringing I was given in thanks to parents with great jobs. My condolences to the family, he was a great man and know he has influenced many in his lifetime.

I had the pleasure of being a neighbor of Mr. Fayerman's when he lived in Boonecroft. He always took the time to tell me about the incredible life that he lived, both good and bad, and those talks left an indelible impression on me. What an amazing man. Rest in peace. You will be dearly missed.
