I´m wondering if Seymour Berlin worked at the Casa Verde Healthcare Center in North York. I was a nurse there in 1992 to 1994. Would love to hear if he did. There was a clinic that looked after this facility. My condolences to family. I´m just seeing this now. He met my father Dr. Lyon Appleby while attending medical courses in the US. Would love to know.

I am an 81 year old physician. In 1962, when I was in Pre-Med, Seymour saved my life. He was the intern when I was a patient and started to bleed profusely. There was no time to waste, and he ordered and administered a blood transfusion immediately even though it was against the rules for an intern to do so and risked his future. A true doctor. I am seeing this 3 years late, but still have to let the world know what an awesome, thoughtful and caring person Dr. Berlin was. The world has lost a tremendous human being. Dr. Berlin truly cared for about his patients and he made sure we saw the best specialists.

Mrs. Berlin and family: We are sorry for your loss. Please accept our sympathy. I must add that it was a joy knowing that we had a DOCTOR who truly cared for his patients. He was exceptional. My family was treated with the highest quality of care for47 years. That is a record that will never be erased from our memories. So often many of my friends talk often about the care we've had over the years. We wish you peace and comfort as you go through this phase.
Our prayers are with you..
Marian, Frank and the children.
