Shane GARLAND

Shane was one of the most engaging people I have ever experienced. I won´t forget our time together that will always mark an important period of change in my life. I left my job of 26 years, my partner of 20 years and my home and country to move to Australia to be with Shane. Our relationship did not work out though we remained friends. It was a positive change for me, giving me the impetus to leave a job I outgrew and a relationship that had been over for years. I started a new chapter and career and ended up with Australian citizenship. Shane´s brilliant energy and engagement will be greatly missed by those in his orbit.

Shane, you were quite a guy with whom I enjoyed working. I was sorry to hear of your passing. RIP Shane

I am so sad to hear of the passing of Shane. What a wonderful human being. I will always have fond memories of Shane from his time at Qantas, Perth Airport. Shane was a wonderful Manager and Leader and thought so highly of by all. May you Rest in Peace, Shane.

There was only one Shane G (1 of a kind for sure) RiP, best wishes to all close to him

Such sad news, but hope you are truly at peace! Plenty of memories flowing as I recall our travels round Oz in that old holden. Say gidday to John and Rene for me while, I'm sure, sharing drinks and stories....
