Shane A. Hamblin

Funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m., Saturday, September 11, 2021 in the Chapel of Downs Funeral Home. Interment will be Colonial Gardens. A time for visitation will be from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., Friday, September 10, 2021 at Downs Funeral Home.

Shane Allen Hamblin of Blanchard, Louisiana, passed away September 6, 2021, in Uncertain, Texas. He was born February 24, 1978, to Paul Hamblin and Alecia Warner in Marshall, Texas. He is survived by his wife, Kellie, children Zach, Leah, Jaxson and Kamryn Hamblin; his parents Paul Hamblin and wife, Julie of Uncertain, Alecia Warner and husband, Larry of Longview, brothers Justin Hamblin and Blake Warner, Grandfather Russell K. Hamblin of Natchitoches, Louisiana and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. Shane was preceded in death by Grandmother Billie Hamblin of Karnack.

Shane was a loving husband and hands on father who had great enthusiasm for life and spending time with family and friends on the water and cheering on his Dallas Cowboys and enjoying life to the fullest. He found a love for wakeboarding and taking his family on vacations. Shane will be greatly missed by those to knew and loved him.
