I'm at a loss of words over the loss of my friend, Shane. I expected to "grow old" with Shane, to be able to "Brunch" with him, dish with him, chide him as only a "good" friend imagines she can. Shane has known me since I was 15, he's been a confidante with whom I have shared my teenage and adult heartaches. Time and distance took a toll on our friendship over the last couple of years. I hope he knew that I loved him and missed him.

I thought I would just hop on a plane and catch up with him one of these days...

To Shane's family and friends:
I imagine words cannot comfort or heal when faced with contemplating life without Shane. My deepest condolences, to all, especially to Jackie, Shane's mom, Patrick, Raynard, GT, Shannen, and the people who have loved Shane and have been his greatest friends.

Shane was one in a million problem solver. He knew all the rules. I retired almost 5 years ago, but he touched all of us. I'll never forget what great Person and love he was. Bless his heart , he always talked about his Mom. He loved a lot of us, LOL. RIP, love Stanlee.

I just loved this comical, loving , bright gentleman . He called me his Sugar Baker and was a light in my life and so loved his Mom Jackie and partner Patrick as well as his friends and colleagues. Prayers to all who loved him.
