Shane Jonah Sparks

Shane Jonah Sparks, 38, of Morganton, passed away Monday August 25, 2014 in the comfort of his home surrounded by those who loved him most including, his mother, Carolyn Hammons; sister, Angela Rogers and husband Stephen; his soul mate, Marsha Fredell; his daughter, Carli Sparks; his brother, Caleb Sparks and nephews, Dallas, Brady, and Houston Rogers; two special friends, Jennifer and Destiny Fredell; all of Morganton. Shane was born on July 13, 1976 in Burke County to Carolyn Sue Hammons and the late Carl Sparks, Jr. He was a machine operator in the furniture industry. A Graveside Service will be held at 4:00 P.M. Tuesday August 26, 2014 at Bible Baptist Church, Morganton. Officiating will be Rev. Doug St. John. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the family to assist with expenses.
