Shannon Bridges Obituary
Shannon lived in Akron his entire life and attended Akron Public Schools. He enjoyed spending time with his family and friends.
He was preceded in death by father, John Wayne Thomas; grandparents, Velma and Hosey Thomas; grandmother, Louise Bridges; and uncle, Tommy Whatley.
Shannon leaves behind to cherish his memory, mother, Carmela Bridges; brother, Lawrence Bridges and twin brother, Shawn Bridges; special friend, Lishella "Duck" Weiss; son, Sahntay Sincere Bridges; aunt, Eleanor Bridges; nephew, Lawrence (Monty) Bridges Jr.; and a host of aunts, cousins and friends who loved him greatly.
Service will be held at 12 p.m. Monday, December 17, 2012 at Stewart and Calhoun Funeral Home, 529 W. Thornton St., Akron, OH 44307, Elder William Bridges eulogizing. Friends may visit at the funeral home from 11 a.m. until time of service. Procession will form and condolences may be sent to 641 Bellevue Ave., Akron, Ohio 44307.
