HOOKER, SHANNON Born in Atlanta, GA, died January 11, 2008 at Medical City Dallas with her family at her bedside. A graduate of Lake Highlands High School, she was 30 years old. Shannon brought joy and happiness to her family and friends and will be dearly missed. Her ability to see humor in all situations was a delight for all who knew her. She is survived by her parents, Tom and Janis Hooker; sisters and brothers-in-law: Stephanie and Dustin Smith of Houston; Diana and Wolfgang Selbrede of Los Angeles; niece: Quinn Smith; nephews: Gabriel Smith and Daniel Selbrede; aunts and uncles: Larry and Judy Murray, Bill and Carolyn Murray, Susan and David Dixon, Richie Murray, Robert Hooker, Beverly Hooker, Barbara Hooker, and many cousins and friends. A visitation will be held Monday night, January 14, 2008 at Sparkman-Hillcrest Funeral Home from 6:00-8:00 pm. , Dignity Memorial Sparkman Hillcrest 7405 W. Northwest Hwy. Dallas (214) 363-5401

Jay, What can I say? Shannon was a very special person to me, whenever we were together, she'd hear my voice and search me out. I always felt a speccial bond with Shannon, I can't explain. You, Tom and Stephanie and all others that knew her were blessed with an angel, I will never forget her. I love you Jay.. Diane
