Shannon PETERSON Obituary
December 27, 1965 - October 1, 2013
Shannon was born December 27, 1965 in the Kerrobert Saskatchewan Hospital. She grew up on the family farm later moving to Kerrobert where she received her Grade XII Certificate with honors also, being musically gifted, her piano certificate. Shannon attended the University of Saskatchewan where she received her Bachelor of Commerce degree. Shannon then spent two years in London, Ontario working for an accounting firm. She relocated to Calgary where she was employed by two accounting firms, most recently, and for many years with Stawowski, McGill & Partners LLP. During which time she received her CGA designation. Shannon passed away peacefully in her own home with family by her side. Her father Leon Julius predeceased Shannon on September 5, 2005. She is survived by her mother, Helen; sister Stacey (Hugh) Anderson; brothers Van (Mary) Peterson and Spence (Debbie) Peterson; uncles Bruce and Noel Peterson and Peter Prescesky; aunts Jean Norris and Florence; many loving nieces and nephews; great-nieces and great-nephews as well as close friends and co-workers. In lieu of flowers, kindly make a donation to a charity of your choice. A Family Graveside Interment will be conducted at a future date. Shannon loved her close-knit family and friends and in return was loved by all. She will be sadly missed. Messages of condolence may be forwarded to the family at www.piersons.ca.

Shannon, you will always be a part of my life. Just thinking of some of the things we did together makes me smile, and laugh! You are missed greatly and always remembered fondly.

To the Peterson Family
Shannon's passing has created such a void in my life as I know it has in all of yours. She was an amazing friend for many years and my most cherished memories are in how much we laughed together. May God hold you close in your time of grief. She was Loved.
