Shannon Raymond Obituary
RAYMOND Shannon Dale August 10, 1991- July 26, 2008 Shannon was vibrant, loving and determined. Her physical beauty was surpassed only by the splendor of her spirit. She was an incredible athlete and if school could have taken place on the soccer field Shannon would have been an honour role student with perfect attendance. She was confident and had every reason to be, yet she was humble and grounded. She understood the depth and true value of friendship even at her tender age. Although we are all deeply saddened by her loss, we find comfort in knowing that she is in the arms of her Daddy (Chris Raymond). Shannon's memory will be cherished by everyone she ever knew, especially her family: her sister, Danielle; her mother, Julie ("Motha J"); the two friends Shannon claimed as her sisters Ashley and Cady; brothers from other mothers Brad and Jordan, her grandparents Tom and Dale Raymond, and grinny grandma Margaret Upton. In lieu of flowers, donations can be sent to Shannon's trust fund TD Canada Trust 9103-6288036 or to the Maple Ridge SPCA Location. A Celebration of Life for Shannon will be held at 1:00 pm on Saturday, August 9, 2008 at Maple Ridge Baptist Church, 22155 Lougheed Highway, Maple Ridge. I didn't see you every day Shannon, nor every week, but the thought of you not being in our world is unbearable. To Julie, Danielle, Grandma, and Ashley, I am so sorry for your loss, but please come together in unity and take care of each other through this heartbreaking time.
