Sharon Black

Sharon Black (74) nee (Lambertus) passed away peacefully, surrounded by family, at Jurvinski Hospital on March 28, 2023 due to complications with cancer. She had a kind heart and was most beloved by her family; treasured by her parents Wilfred and Helen Lambertus. Sharon is survived by her two devoted daughters and their supportive husbands Melanie (Ian) and Amanda (Rich). Her Grandchildren kept her young in spirit; Jorja, Jessa, Caleb and Richard III, Abigail, Spencer. She loved her siblings Kevin (Linda), Marilyn (Peter), Brian (Joan), Sue (Adrian), and Robin. Sharon earned her pilots license in 1978 and volunteered with Girl Guides of Canada for a decade. She worked at St. Joseph's for many years and continued to enjoy these friendships right up til the very end. Our family would like to thank the compassionate nursing staff and palliative doctors of C3 Oncology for their dedication to our mom. Sharon was grateful to those who helped care for her daily while still at home. The family will be having a burial service at Resurrection Cemetery 254 Garner Rd W on Thursday, April 6th at 1:00 p.m. In lieu of cards or flowers, a small donation to St. Michael Elementary's Food for Kids Program, in her name, would be so kind.
