Sharon H. Burak, a beloved mother, mother-in-law, grandmother, sister, friend, colleague and dedicated professional, passed away peacefully on June 21. Born in Queens, New York, Sharon lived a life full of energy, purpose, and love for her work, family, friends and Disney!

Sharon spent over 45 years in the banking industry, where her passion, professionalism, and warmth left a lasting impact on colleagues and clients alike. Known for her strong work ethic and vibrant personality, she was always eager to stay active and connected to the world around her. She often shared her personal motto: "Do what you love and love what you do."

A lifelong learner, Sharon was proud to have earned her Associate's degree, a Bachelor's in Business with a minor in History, and a Master's in Business and Finance. Her unwavering commitment to education and personal growth inspired those around her. Fulfilling a long-held dream, she became a Professor later in life - a testament to her dedication and passion for learning.

Sharon's Jewish faith was central to her life. She lived with deep devotion, guided by prayer, tradition, and a strong connection to G-d.

Sharon is survived by her daughter, Sheila, son-in-law, Ryan, as well as her cherished grandchildren, Samantha and Zachary, who brought endless joy to her life. She also leaves behind her brothers, Larry and Brian. Sharon was preceded in death by her beloved parents, Claire and Samuel Schneir.

Sharon was a wonderful friend to many and will be deeply missed and forever remembered for her warmth, wisdom, kind heart and unwavering spirit.
