Sharon was such a sweet and loving person. I had the honor of teaching with her for numerous years in Burleson. She had such a kind heart and was a faithful child of God.
She will be dearly missed. May she rest in peace.

My first memory of Sharon Cloud was several years ago shortly after she came to Travis Avenue Baptist. We met while serving in Vacation Bible School. I was taken by her generosity and graciousness with the children as well as with me. Turns out that was very natural for her. She was a noticer. If she noticed you, she did not let it go unsaid. Fast forward several years. A few weeks ago I sat in front of her at a Praise Singers rehearsal. I overheard the lady next to her lovingly ask her if she was ok because she could not hear her singing. I loved Sharon's sweet response. She said, "Oh yes I'm fine, I'm enjoying listening to you sing." That was her special way, and when she spoke, you wanted to lean in and hear what she'd say. We rejoice knowing that Sharon is now singing loudly along with God's Heavenly choirs. He notices her and is well pleased with His good and faithful servant.
