Sharon Sue Farmer, 75, of Princeton, died Thursday, October 27, 2022, at Westwood Center in Bluefield, VA. Born September 24, 1947, in Ohio, she was the daughter of the late Rufus Berlin Farmer and Margaret Lucille Fox Farmer. Sharon was a graduate of the R.N. program at Bluefield State College. She formerly worked at St. Luke’s Hospital in Bluefield and Kegley Manor in Bastian, VA. She also taught nursing for several years. Sharon was a devoted Christian and had a strong faith. She is survived by her son, Roger Farmer and wife, Anna Cochran of Princeton; grandchildren, Brantley, Dawson, and Freya; siblings, Anita Coeburn of Bluefield, WV, Roger Farmer and wife Cathy of Tennessee, Russell Farmer and wife Donna of Colorado, and Sandra Moricle and husband Eugene of Virginia; nephews, Chris Dinger, B.J. Corburn, Rusty Coeburn, and Brian Moricle. In honoring Sharon’s wishes, she will be cremated. A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
