When we were kids we played Monopoly and the games could go on for days! I remember we had so many cousins and the games were fun.
Sharon seemed so much older (she was by 3 years) and so beautiful to me. I loved her and she will be missed. Thankful for the many memories.

I wish I could have met Sharon.
I am, however, fortunate to know Roslyn who shares many of the same attributes, and talents.
I wish Rosalyn, and all family members love and healing.
with love and respect, Clara

One of my earliest memories was Sharon playing circus laying on her back trying to balance me, stretched out like an airplane on her feet, while trying to toss me in the air and catch me again—not always successfully. Sharon liked to try new things and I was her test monkey, so when I was 5 she decided my ears needed piercing, Sharon got two ice cubes to freeze my ears and preceded to make a hole in my ears with a needle and thread. By the time mother found out the holes were healed. Her aim was lousy and not centered & when older had to learn how to select earrings that covered the misplaced holes. Sharon loved to color in my coloring books and taught me about colors , & shading to create dement-ion. Remember our small closet was so full of her many petticoats on the back of the door we could verily shut the door. On my 7th birthday Sharon asked me what kind of a cake did I want. Said I wanted a blue cake, and Sharon made me a blue cake using lots of food coloring in the cake and icing and on her hands. Blue is still my favorite color. We shared a bed and I would have to run and jump on the bed so the alligators couldn’t get me. When we got twin beds, mine was next to the windows and when she trained me to never tattle on her when she climbed out and back into our room. We were sisters and I will always carry Sharon in my heart.

When I married Bill, Sharon took me under her wing. I learned to sew from her. She taught me to cook. She taught me how to be a better wife. We had many meals at her home with other family that will always be a beautiful memory. I didn't have cousins close to my age but Sharon and her sisters filled that void. Most importantly Sharon told me about Jesus and was relentless until I attended church. For this I am eternally grateful. I will miss her.

One of my favorite memories is when she was at my house and we were brainstorming a new design for something, I don´t even remember what it was. After I had detailed my plan, she looked at me and said "I wouldn´t go to that much trouble". I busted out laughing. When she realized the irony she started laughing. For 20 years every time we got the opportunity to say, "I wouldn´t go to that much trouble", we would laugh all over again. I miss being creative with her. I´m glad she is at peace now!
