Sharon Hall Obituary

Published by Legacy Remembers on Sep. 23, 2022.
Sharon was born in South Bend, Washington in 1942. The family lived their early years in Washington where she grew up with her younger brother Bill Kraus.

Later, the family moved to Los Angeles where she grew up and graduated from Woodrow Wilson High School. After high school she went to work in the corporate world in office administration. There she met many long time friends and colleagues.

She married Steve Hall in 1969. They had their first and only child, Kevin, in 1971. The family moved to Bellevue, Washington in 1977. This move also helped Sharon stay closer to her mother, Nell, who lived in Tacoma. Sharon would visit her mother weekly and take her out shopping and on local excursions.

Sharon loved to travel and worked as a travel agent. She also loved to cook, and to entertain friends. She liked to have fun and her friends know that she was somewhat of a prankster.

In 2005, Sharon and Steve transitioned back to southern California, retiring to sunny Palm Desert to spend time with friends.

During this time Sharon was diagnosed with Parkinson's. And while it did not have an immediate impact it did however in her last years. With the hospitalization of Steve in late 2021 (and his subsequent death), she moved back to Bellevue so that her son, and his family, could take care of her. Over this last year, despite difficulties, it has been joyful to have Sharon part of our family traditions from holidays, birthdays, dinners, and precious time with her grandchildren.

She will be missed by her family, her grandchildren and her friends. A service will be planned with more appreciations and remembrances.
