Sharon L. Humes

QUINCY -- Sharon L. Humes, 62, of 527 Broadway, died at 5:35 a.m. Sunday (Feb. 8, 2015) in Quincy.

Born March 13, 1952, in Maywood, Mo., Sharon was the daughter of Taylor Johnson and Dorothy May Roberts.

Sharon enjoyed volunteering with the Jefferson Youth Center. She liked to clean and will be remembered for her volunteer cleaning at Lampe Hi-Rise.

Sharon was a devoted mother and grandmother whose greatest joy was spending time with her family.

Sharon had been married to Robert Humes and to that union came three children, Robert Carl Ray Humes of Quincy, Tammy Lummer (Eric) of Quincy, and Billy Humes, who preceded her in death. She is also survived by two grandchildren, Pierce Lummer and Makenzie Lummer; two brothers, Bobby Johnson and Larry Johnson (Peggy), both of Quincy; a niece, Crystal Brown; a nephew, Randy Johnson; and an uncle, Oscar Johnson (Emma) of Maywood.

In addition to son Billy, Sharon was preceded in death by her parents.

SERVICES: Sharon's wishes were to be cremated with no service.
