Sharon was our weekend neighbor and grew into a dear friend. We cherished Sharon and her love for animals, people, art and sending cards. She was such a thoughtful caring person and always dressed so nice! She had the cutest dresses ever! I always looked forward to see what Sharon was wearing!
She helped me with my mother who had dementia (mom adored her & Judi) and was a house sitter for us & our kitties many times. Sharon´s friendship blessed our lives beyond measure. She was the real deal walking & living her Christian faith for all to see. I will miss Sharon very much. It´s hard to believe she went on a short trip and now gone from our lives. The picture is a gift from Sharon she made for our RV. It traveled with us for two years and now is back home. Sharon is home with Jesus now, and how sweet and wonderful that must be! Until we meet again in Heaven. Our deepest sympathy to the family for this tremendous loss.

Mema, my sunshine, my guiding light. Her kind spirit, quick wit, and smile will forever be etched in my heart\. She was more than just a grandmother; she was a friend, a confidante, and a source of endless love and laughter.
She taught me the beauty of the world, and fostered a deep appreciation for life's simple pleasures (petting a dog, listening to the waves lap up on shore, feeding Phaedra). She was there to comfort us when we weren't well, her gentle touch soothing our worries and even now thinking of holding her hand brings me some solace. Her thoughtful cards, filled with love, always brightened my day.
I will forever remember her warm embrace, her comforting and reassuring words, and her unwavering love for her family and those around her. Though she is no longer with us physically, her spirit will live on in our hearts, actions, and hugs.
I miss you, Mema, more than words can say.

My heart is so sad reading about the passing of a wonderful lady. I'm glad she was surrounded by her family. Sharon was my sister in law from my brother in law Donald Johnson. I remember all the times that we would visit them in Virginia and she always made us feel at home. Sharon was a kind person and would help anyone out. Even after her and my brother in law separated I still considered her as my family. She loved her children and grandchildren so much. We had so many laughs together and I have always cherished the times we had when we visited in Virginia and also when they came to visit in New York. My heart and condolences to our to her children and grandchildren. Please know that I'm here for you all and you can contact me too if you need to talk. I'm on Sharon's Facebook. Sending prayers and I know she will be watching over you all from heaven and protecting you all too.
Love, Aunt Karen Johnson (VanPelt)

Oh for All my cousins in St Louis- mom was the last one of our family in her generation. And now Sharon-so soon....im sure it´s like losing your second mom-she loved each of you as her own. Can our hearts really hold more loss? Her smile and laugh so warm, her worry and love, and grief so nurturing. I´m so glad her family were at her bedside. if I feel her loss, I can´t imagine what all my precious cousins feel. I´m sending all my love your way.

Mom, you are the shiniest sparkle in my life. I noticed all the little things you do and I am grateful to have a hero for my mother. Your caring, cards and gestures grand and small made the world a happier place. I love you to the sun and back. Until we hug again
Love always, Kari
Ps we all know who the favorite is.
