Sharon Lynch Obituary

Published by Legacy Remembers on Jul. 10, 2025.

Sharon Lee "Sherry" Lynch (ne Swanstrom), age 82, passed away peacefully on June 28, 2025, in Oakdale, Minnesota.

Born on June 17, 1943, in Chicago, Illnois. Sherry was the cherished daughter of Virginia and Harold "Bud" Swanstrom.

Sherry was the beloved wife and best friend of the late Martin Lynch II. Together they built a life rooted in love and family. Her unwavering devotion to her loved ones was evident in every aspect of her life.

She was a proud and loving mother to Maureen Aune (Denis Woulfe), Shannon Palmen (Dennis Schutz), Paula Barron (Chad Jellum), and Martin Lynch III (Jane Weiss), Kathleen "Kitty" (Bob Sveiven). She had 1 brother Richard Swanstrom and

a furry companion Finnegan "Finny" who was always by her side. Her legacy continues through her grandchildren and great-grandchildren, who brought immense joy to her life.

Sherry found happiness in life's simple pleasures-reading a good book, tending to her plants, walking her dog , or enjoying a lively game of bingo. She especially treasured spending winters in Arizona with Shannon and Denny, where she enjoyed the warmth of both the sun and friends.

Those who knew Sherry will remember her warmth, generosity, and steadfast presence. Whether as a wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, or friend, she gave wholeheartedly and created lasting memories for all who shared in her journey.

A private memorial will be held at a later date.

May her memory bring comfort to those who knew and loved her.
