I have known Sharon and Larry for approx 40 years and over the years have shared many great times and lots of memories. We shared a love of our bassett hounds and talking, laughing and always catching up on each others lives. Sharon was a very unique, fun loving and always there friend. We were going to celebrate our birthdays in August as we turned the big "65" I will have a heavy heart but Sharon will be with me in spirit. My prayers are with all of you Larry, Shawna, Richard, Rachael and Zachary,

Sharon will forever be my knitting buddy who told me once that life is too short to knit with cheap yarn. I will think of her with every scane of yarn I touch.

Sharon arrived with a zest for family during our Durham reunions and left us with the joy and laughter that she shared. We received glimpses of her and yet each of us were filled with love. Thank you Larry for the times you came with her.

My deepest sympathy and love goes to Sharon's family. She definatly made her mark on this earth, we that know her are blessed and are better because of her influence, her smile and her charity. She was such an inspiration to us all here at Salt Lake Community College. I personally enjoyed working with her, she helped me so much. I will miss her sweet spirit and laugh...She will be missed.

Sharon, I will miss you. I am blessed to have known and worked with you for the past 10 years. You offered me support when I need it, and gave me kick in the pants when I needed that too. You taught me the true meaning of grace and courage this past year. Thanks for being my friend, dear lady.

Sharon,
What an example you have been to so many at Salt Lake Community College for your dedication to your work and students. What a great lady! How you shined as beacon for all to learn about work ethic. You have been missed at SLCC while you graciously endured the trial of ill health. God bless your family at this difficult time.

I am going to miss one of my dearest aunts. She was so very important to me. I loved talking to her and hearing her praise and rejoicing in my life and gaining knowledge through her. Even in her last months of life she was so willing to give of herself when it came to my circumstances. It shows just how wonderful she really was. She will be loved always and missed forever.

While I was never fortunate enough to meet Sharon personally, I felt like I knew her through my friendship with her son Richard. She had to have been an exceptional woman to have raised such a man. I admired how she loved, and encouraged both her children and delighted in their diversity. My condolences to the entire family
