Sharon Jody White

Daughter of the late Morton and Alice White of Worcester, MA. Sharon is survived by her sister, Marilyn, of Los Angeles, CA, and her brothers, Barry and William, of Worcester, MA. She also leaves nieces Sophia Takal-Levine, married to Lawrence Levine, of Pasadena and Marisa Takal of Glendale, CA. Her final wish was to hold Sophia and Lawrence's newborn son, Seymour, which she did before her passing. After graduating from Lasell Jr. College In 1973, Sharon moved to New York City and started her career in the music industry. Her very first job promoting recording artists saw the success of Kansas ("Dust in the Wind") and went on to include working with Kate Bush, Tom Petty, Bruce Hornsby, Night Ranger, Police, Kiss, Aerosmith, Peter Gabriel, and Nirvana. Sharon loved what LA had to offer- its sun, sand, and water. She also enjoyed vintage clothing, the Lakers, the Patriots, her Kia Soul, smoothies, and all the dogs who gave her unconditional love throughout her life: Parker, Lucy, Honey, and Benny. She was surrounded by her friends until the very end, especially Sandy Doumani, Barry Jones, and Jill Lowy. At Sharon's request, no services are planned.
