In memory of
Dorothy Shromoff
January 27, 2024
To the family of Shaun, my deepest and sincere condolences for your loss. My heart knows the ache and sadness you are going through and will forever. I remember Shaun responding to my many posts on FB, mostly posts of my late husband Jon, whom he worked with many years ago. I did not see about Shaun's passing until this afternoon and, by coincidence, it is the time and day of his Celebration of Life. He was an incredible man. and it is a shock and so sad to lose someone so young and full of life and now be gone. I knew Shaun for many years and know he will be missed by many. Love, sympathy and hugs! Dorothy Shromoff

I´m a Two Harbors class of 1987, a year younger than Shaun. He had an infectious smile, a witty sense of humor, an excellent listener, and a genuine person. He never measured, or judged a person´s "success" by the salary they made, but rather how happy they were with how they believed their life was going, if that makes any sense. We were not close friends, but we would mutually seek each other out when we saw one another at a Two Harbors function. He was a very good soul, and we all deserved another 30 years of him around. So sad to lose out. Wishes of peace to all of his friends and family!

I'll always remember my cousin Shaun with a smile, a HUGE heart, and a man with so much love to give. There are so many beautiful words to describe him but there isn't enough time in this world. You will be forever missed and I will forever be grateful for all the moments I was able to spend with you.

I´ll never hear "Hot Rod Lincoln" without remembering Shaun singing it, big grin on his face, and giggling afterwards. He had joy for life, and was a great friend to so many. He left a big hole in our hearts.

I first met Shaun when he was in sixth grade. I was picked to be the camp counselor for the Clover Valley sixth grade kids while they were at the Enviromental Learning Center then in Isabella. Let me tell you wrangling 30 6th graders at camp was an experience. BUT... Shaun was my right hand man! He helped me keep everyone in line and gave me a heads up on who I had to watch out for. We remained friends for all these years. Last time I saw him was at Ace Hardware in Superior and we talked about getting a band together to play in his new garage for a big party. Sorry we never got to that old friend. RIP.

Shaun and I met originally when he baught a beer sign from me. Our love and passion for beer signs connected us and we became friends that would always talk about beer signs and collect them. We would connect many times through the year and talk about so much more than signs. His collection eventually became a museum. He was so proud of it and he should be. He spent countless hours finding the best deal and building the perfect display for others to enjoy. I will dearly miss him. He was an amazing person! I think this and had only known him for a fraction of the time most have. I hope you see your beer sign lights shining in heaven my friend, even though they pale in comparison to the brightness you brought to countless others.

Wonderful man, thoughtful, generous and kind. My heart hurts for you, Sharon and Courtney! Remember all his smiles and laughter. There's a song: : There's another Angel around the thorn tonight! It's beautiful and reminds me of the Dopplers we have lost. Wish I could be there for Shaun's celebration..Hugs always!! Robin
