Shawn Wayne Baxter

Shawn Wayne Baxter, 56, of Oxford, Georgia, passed away on November 24, 2023. Born on August 5, 1967, in Huntington, IN, Shawn was the beloved son of Mickey Baxter Spade and the late Phillip Baxter.

Shawn was also a loving husband to his wife May Ann Baxter, who resides in Bogo City, Philippines. He was also a devoted father to his sons: Joshua, Ft Wayne, IN, Braden (Kailey) of Loganville, GA, Beau and Bailin of Covington, GA, Brecken of Oxford, GA, and Mcalister Ezekiel Baxter of Bogo City, Philippines. Shawn was also a proud grandfather to his granddaughter Evelyn Elise Baxter. He is also survived by one brother: Richard Baxter of Kimmell, IN.

After graduating from Norwell High School in 1985, Shawn went on to establish his career as the owner of Green Emblems LLC, a position he held from 2010 until his passing.

In his free time, Shawn enjoyed spending quality time with his family. He also had a passion for golf, billiards, and darts.

The funeral arrangements for Shawn Wayne Baxter were handled by South Care Cremation and Funeral Society, located in Snellville, Georgia.

A celebration of Shawn's life was held Sunday December 3rd at his home in Oxford, Georgia.
