Shawn J. Harrison

Shawn Harrison, 51, left us suddenly on Jan. 28, 2021. The funeral service will be held Feb. 27, 2021, at The Sanctuary, 907 23rd Ave., at 6 p.m.
Shawn was born in Lansing, Michigan, on Dec. 26, 1969, and grew up in Grand Ledge, Michigan. She moved to Fairbanks in 1985. While she was not born here, she fell in love with Alaska and decide to start her life here.
She had a love for God and was a strong, confident woman. She always fought for what she believed in and carried this throughout her life. She was always trying something new and enjoyed being hands-on. This meant anything from home renovations to running a small farm. When she wasn't busy with church activities, she loved to be with her family and friends. Numerous camping trips and outdoor adventures were some of the best memories that her and her children had together.
Shawn inspired and touched many people throughout her life in Alaska. When she moved to Hawaii later, she continued to spread the word and love of God and made Hawaii her new home with many new friends and family their as well. Shawn was greatly loved and will be missed by all her family and friends.
She is succeeded by her children, Amanda Jordan, Danielle Magyar and Austin Jordan; her husband, Paul Harrison; and stepson and daughter, Lorien and Hunter Harrison.
