News Death Notice
HICKEY, Shawn P. age 27, of West Carrollton, passed away on Thursday, April 9, 2009. Shawn was a loving and devoted father, fiancé, brother, grandson, nephew and friend who will be missed by all who knew him. Shawn is survived by his daughter: Kyra Hickey; fiancé: Jeanie Bach; sisters and brothers-in-law: Justine (Arthur Jr.) Kangas, Gina (Todd) Reichard, Geraldine (Greg) Kincer, Patrice McIntyre, Jennifer Smith; brother: Donald McIntyre Jr.; grandmother: Ann Hickey; step father: Raymond Smith; uncles: Mark (Charlotte) Hickey, Larry (Ursala) Hickey; aunt: Deb Hickey; and numerous other family members and friends. He was preceded in death by his mother: Geraldine Smith; grandfather: John Hickey; grandmother: Nora Owen; and uncle: Tom Hickey. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Tuesday, April 14, 2009 at Newcomer Funeral Home (South Chapel) 3940 Kettering Blvd., Kettering. Interment will follow the service at Mt. Zion Park Cemetery in Beavercreek. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Tuesday morning from 9:00 A.M. until time of services.
