Shawn Hughes Obituary
He was born in Harrisburg, Pa., a son of Christine E. Ockenhouse and Gary L. Hughes Sr.
Shawn was a student at Lansdowne High School.
He was on the wait staff of the Charlestown Retirement Community, and his activities included the Lansdowne Skatebowl and the Malvy "band."
In addition to his parents, he is survived by two brothers, Gary Lee Hughes and James R. Hughes, and one sister, Stephanie Gelwicks.
There will be a visitation from 6 to 9 p.m. Thursday at the Ambrose Funeral Home, Lansdowne. The funeral will be conducted at 11 a.m. Friday in Holy Trinity Catholic Church with Father Jarboe as celebrant.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in Shawn's memory to Ambrose Funeral Home, 2719 Hammonds Ferry Road, Lansdowne, MD 21227, toward his funeral costs.

Shawn, you will be missed dearly. Though I did not know you personally, I did know your grandfather Dennis. Being his grandson you had to be one of the kindest, gentle, loving people on earth. My thoughts are with Dennis and his family.
