League Bowler at Serra Bowl
February 14, 2025
Shawn, here it is Valentine's Day 2025 only to read your obituary and not knowing you have been gone. Remember bowling at Serra Bowl when my son took the game serious enough to bowl in the PBA and won his first West Region Title.
You inspired the bowlers and if you see my dad you two would have Heavenly Lanes for sure.
Your phone number still in my phone since then.
You now are at a better place.

I had the pleasure to work with Shawn at TTF. It should be noted to this day his SFPD Department ID card is still attached to the doorway of the TTF Keepers Office, his office. He was a legend among us!

Just found out about Shawn's passing. What a loss. Shawn was a joy to work with nights in the Tenderloin. Great real conversations. I was always impressed with how fast he could run. Rest in peace. Bud. Condolences to the family.

I´m so very sorry to Heather and Shawn´s family. I remember all those years of TTF. And the laughs. And Shawn was in the middle of so many of them.
"Sugar" is one of those colorful characters that will go down in the lores of TTF history.
I will never forget the morning 06 lineup the day after Obama first got elected. Sugar came prancing in to 0600 lineup with that grin insisting that " from now on I want to be referred to as Mister Jackson."
I remember when a suspect crashed a stolen vehicle on 8th street and ran into the Holiday Inn and we were chasing him. Sean comes walking out of the Holiday Inn smiling with the suspect in handcuffs. And sugar said " you guys looking for this one? He interrupted my breakfast."
There were also many quiet conversations about faith and family. Sean was a very good man. He will be missed.
So many memories. Rest well friend. I keep you in prayer

I remember meeting Shawn at CJ1, bringing in his transports in his paddy wagon. Always had his infectious smile on and talking his smack. Action Jackson will truly be missed! Rest in peace buddy!

For many years it was just us three! So funny! When folks came into the Station with..
Complaints, our first question was....
Describe the Bandit!
It was never us!

I worked with Shawn at TTF when he first came on board the SFPD. Shawn was a good worker and had an infectious happy go lucky attitude. Shawn was definitely one of the good guys and he will be missed. Rest Easy, my friend, my condolences to his family
