Trae and Pastor Erv,
We are so sorry that Shawn passed away at such a young age. We knew her through the Hope connection when Pastor Erv was coaching our son, Andrew. Shawn often came by the practices with a baby in her arms to watch. We loved seeing the Nunnink family sitting in a back pew at Hope with their babies and kids. Our prayers will be with your family and especially Emma, Phillip, Sophia and William for their heartbreaking loss.

To Shawn's family--I remember her as an adorable little girl that charmed my husband and me and our Redeemer Lutheran congregation with her athletic spunk and precious personality!! We join you in celebrating her being with Jesus and free from her disease that she fought so valiantly. We pray that God will comfort you now and through the years with many beautiful memories of special times spent with her.

Shawn was fiesty like no one else she would want no part of symphaty for herself, her advice would be have a good glass of red and get on with it ! how she lived her life should be a model for all of us.
