Shawn Robert Talbot
Shawn Robert Talbot, 29, of Palmyra, Utah died from injuries sustained in a tragic accident near Little Rock, Arkansas on June 27, 2008.
Shawn was born April 13, 1979 in Payson, Utah to Robert James and Linda Garlick Talbot. Shawn loved the outdoors, riding horses, dirt bikes, hunting, playing ball, and just hanging out with friends and family. He was a very kindhearted young man, full of love for life. He adored his many nieces and nephews, and many happy hours were spent with them.
He is survived by his parents; brother, Cory Talbot; and sister, Shannon Gardiner. Shawn was preceded in death by his grandparents, Basil and Geri Talbot; and Ray and Maxine Garlick; Uncle Ricky Garlick; Uncle Jeff Roman; and a cousin, Brody Talbot. The family would like to express gratitude to all friends, family, and neighbors at this time of grief. We will miss Shawn deeply, but know he has gone on to bigger and better things. His time on earth was short, but many lives were blessed in knowing and loving him. Til we meet again...

To the Talbot family,
I am deeply sorry for your loss, especially in a manner such as this. My husband was in this same accident and I seen Shawn before they left the Union County facility that morning, see I work there. I know your family is deeply scarred from your loss. I know you don't know me but if you ever need to just talk I would be glad to listen.

Mr. & Mrs. Talbot & Cory,
I had the pleasure of working with Shawn, as a boss and as a co-worker. He has a very special spirit that will be greatly missed.
He always had a way of making you laugh and enjoy life, and will always be a part of our lives because of how he touched our heart and soul.

Dear Shawn,
You are a light shining bright for our family. Always a smile to share. You are always so much fun and very loving and respectful. Memories cherished of Karaoke and Family Home Evenings and just plain hangin' out. Miss your hugs.

Talbie will always be a part of our family memories. He was always a joy to have at my home and was considered one of my sons. His kind spirit and heart catching smile will be greatly missed. He was always trustworthy and showed great respect to our family. He was much more than some people gave him credit for. Talbie was admired by all despite his shortcomings. He is and will always be in our hearts and souls. My love to his family at this time. He will truly be missed. Love to you Talbie. Momma Shaunee Davis

Talbie as he was known to me will always be a welcome guest in our hearts. I met him through a group of my sons friends he stood out because of his quiet humour and sly grin. He will be missed and remembered especially in the mountains by all of them.
