Shawn was a special guy. When i started with CP&R he greeted me with open arms. He was always a resource to go to for many things. The one thing that i remember is that he trusted me with his prize baseball, baseball bat, football, and other items he need signed down in Southern md while he was on vacation. It met alot to me that he would ask me to do that for him.
Will be truly missed.

I did not know Shawn for very long, but it did not take long to know what a strong, caring, funny man, I miss hearing him talk and laugh in the mornings here, he was so excited about planning events and trips, he survived so much, and was still so positive looking toward the future. I am very sorry for the loss of Shawn, sorry for his wife, his children, family and friends that will miss him so very much, my heartfelt prayers go out to you all.

We love you Dad

Cindy and Family we are so sorry for your loss. I remember when you all moved to the Smithsburg area and Brother Shawn reached out to find his Masonic home in our neighborhood and his enthusiasm to pursue his Masonic travels. He will be missed greatly.

Shawn was one of my best friends. He had a personality larger than life. Shawn was so full of love, laughter, jokes and true to the core to his friends and family. I loved walking down many times when I lived near Shawn & Cindy to just hang out or have their delicious meals. After I moved out of state, coming to see Shawn and Cindy was always a must for me. I cherished their friendship more than anything. As a widow myself in January 2023, it pains me to see Cindy going through this pain as well. Don't you worry Shawn, I'll always be here for Cindy and we'll help one another through losing our husband's. It was an honor watching your marriage with Cindy. Your love together was beautiful. I love you and miss you so much my friend. R.I.P.
