My Dearest Family, My heartfelt condolences on the loss of your loving mother, grandmother and great grandmother. There was no other Aunt who I loved the way I loved Shiela. Words fail. Her sense of humor, a sparking eyes and a sharp wit allowed her to create the family only she could. What a marvelous long life that leaves memories that will always be with me in practice. Aunt Sheila taught me how to make a Yorkshire pudding on one visit to her home for Sunday roast, when she and Uncle Pete returned from their European holidays they would always visit us in Brooklyn where she would plant a seed in me for all my future travels. I especially recall Portugal being a touchstone for them and I am going to plan that trip this year in her honor ,maybe even get a home there. Recently I sent an old black and white photograph from the 1940´s of a young Uncle Peter in England, In boxing pose, shirtless on some London rooftop, looking dashing and fit thinking it would be something she would enjoy. In true Shiela fashion she wrote back thanking me for the photo and admitting that she disliked the show-off-ness-machismo and preferred a less demonstrative stance. This was her part of her charm, always to be full of surprise. She will be continue to be fondly thought of in my heart always. In Gratitude and Love for having been a bright light in my life.

My sincere condolences
To Sheila´s family. I volunteer with Partners in Care and drove Sheila many times to dr appointments. I grew up on LI and we always talked about how much we missed it. She was so sweet and an absolute joy to be with. We had many great conversations. I will always remember her.
