Rest In Peace & Power Forever Honorable Congress Woman Shelia Jackson Lee! She is more precious than rubies: and all the things thou canst desire are not to be compared unto her. (Proverbs 3:15) There is so many memories, moments, and milestones I could reflect on nevertheless, I will sum them all up with your motto "We still have work to do!" May God be praised for your life and comfort for your family with everlasting love forever. Amen.

During one of the Harris County elections, last year, I was working, as an election clerk. I was told, that she was outside, of the library, so I went out to conversate, with her. Told her that, the only time, in which, I had seen her in person, was at my cousin's funeral. She informed me that my aunt, when she retired, would babysit, for her. It was such a pleasure, to have met her...I am a native born, of 75 years and have 5 generations born Houstonions, right here. Remembering also, when Sheila, served on the Houston City Council, as well...She will be greatly missed.

As a native H-Town girl I can remember her evolving in the 1980's, always out in the fields (streets) the masses on the grounds, simply no respecter of persons. I call her the hardest working woman I have ever seen, I know it was God giving her supernatural (energy) according to Zechariah 4:6 to serve people. Faithful, diligent, caring, bold. Like Deborah in the bible a Governmental Prophetess. Prayers for her family, from labor to rest. Respectfully

I first met Congresswoman Sheila Jackson Lee in the late '70s at a forum where she spoke about cases of child abuse. Her genuine concern and caring nature for people made her incredibly personable. In that moment, I knew she make a positive impact on this world. She was always willing to help anybody, and her loss is deeply felt. We have lost a remarkable woman. I extend my deepest condolences and prayers to the family.

First to Mr. Lee & the children, the rest of the Jackson Lee Family, and all who mourn the departure of this Great Woman - the Honorable Representative Sheila Jackson Lee of Houston, TX. I met this Great Humanitarian at the first Leadership Conference in Washington, DC on Feb 3, 2020. I was so amazed of the entire persona of this Great Leader. I asked, "could we take a selfie?" She agreed and I still have this picture that I will place in my cherish pictorial memory area of my office. We had a brief conversation about a few things that was on my heart and she listened. I gave her an autographed copy of my book on the Gulf War. My heart is saddened, but I rejoice knowing that she entered into the hands of God and welcomed into Heaven. Rest in Peace Great Worker for All People. My wife and I are Praying for the family and all of us who mourn this loss from the earth!
