I am so sorry to hear about the passing of Shelley. I had no idea she was sick and my heart breaks. Some of my favorite memories of college were playing the piano with Shelley. I will miss her greatly and will cherish my memories of making music with her. She was an inspiration to me and she helped shape who am I today. I am thankful that I knew her.

Oh,my goodness, I just learned about Shelley this morning. I am so sorry. Shelley was a wonderful young woman who had so much enthusiasm and joy. I remember her very fondly from her days at Converse. God blessed the lives of so many people through the life and ministry of Shelley. My thoughts and prayers are with Kevin, Lacon and Ruth, they were so strong last night at visitation. Shelley was very precious. I remember how I always enjoyed going to the Piggly Wiggly in Lamar when she worked there as a teenager. She always had a smile and a kind word to give. This was just not for me but everyone she came in contact with. I have listened to her play the piano at Newman Swamp Church during the Christmas Season,it just amazed me how she could play so well and use her hand to direct the choir. There are no words that will ease your pain at this time, but please know the town of Lamar has saddened hearts because of this loss of such a precious person. Your family is in my prayers.
