1968 - 2017
It is with heavy hearts that we, the family, announce the passing of Shelly Lynn Braun, born September 19, 1968. Shelly passed away suddenly at Royal University Hospital on November 20, 2017 at the age of 49 years. Shelly was born and raised in Saskatoon, SK. She spent her childhood growing up in Montgomery, then to Mount Royal Collegiate for high school. She excelled in gymnastics and almost made the Olympics in her early teens. As she grew older her interest in golf and curling took hold, following in the footsteps of her grandparents and mother. Her first marriage produced her three children Ashly, Tanner and Tylor who she loved with all her heart. She enjoyed spending time with her family, grandkids and best friend who just happened to be her mom. Shelly is survived by her three children Ashly, Tanner and Tylor; her mom and dad Jack and Shirley Kinzel; sister Dawn Braun (Glen Hurman); brother Sheldon; grandchildren Ayden, Abi, Ameila and August; as well as numerous nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her biological dad Leonard Braun; grandparents Nick and Mary Lemko and Aron and Sarah Braun. Shelly will be forever in our hearts, always in our minds and greatly missed for all the days to come. Shelly requested no funeral, instead a celebration of life. Details will be decided on a later date. In lieu of flowers, please make a donation to your favorite charity in memory of Shelly. Thank you to the Saskatoon Funeral Home. My deepest condolences Shirley and family. I have so many great memories with Shelly from growing up. We had recently talked about getting together with the girls from our Montgomery class and I am so sad that it didn't happen.
I have been a little in shock since I got the message from Dawn last week, she was too young.

I knew Shelly growing up in Montgomery, we hung out sometimes, and I have thought of her often over the years. Shelly was always a lovely girl, which I am sure amplified as she matured. My sincerest condolences to her friends and family. Rest in Peace Shelly.
